Reyan Barnyard Project

Please read all of the information below! The Susquehanna County Conservation District is accepting bids for the implementation of agricultural best management practices on the  Farm in Middletown Township, Susquehanna County.  The full bid package and supporting information can be downloaded by clicking on the document titles below:

  • ​​Bid Document Appendix – DEP contract_attachments– This project is funded by state and federal grants.  Therefore, the selected contractor will be subject to the provisions of this Appendix which apply to sub-contractors to the overall grant contract between the Conservation District and PA DEP.
  • Prevailing Wage Rate Information – This project will be over $25,000 and will require prevailing wages. Wage Determination from PA Department of Labor & Industry.  See “Heavy/Highway” rates. Bidders should determine the specific wage categories appropriate for the project (i.e. Operators, Truck drivers, Laborers, etc.) Click on the button below for details.

Contractors interested in bidding on the project must visit the project site for a required pre-bid examination of the area to become fully informed as to all existing conditions and limitations including access and availability of materials.
The mandatory site showing will be at the Reyan Farm-1725 Williams Rd. Friendsville, PA 18818 on April 28 at 3 p.m.


Bid proposal packages must be received at the office of the Susquehanna County Conservation District by 4:30 P.M, Wednesday, May 18, 2022.
