Addendum
Revised Plan View & 6' Wall Detail

  • Adding 32’ 8" of 6’ high wall as an internal divider between the HUA and storage areas. The spec for this wall has been added to the website. The corner of the wall will line up with the inner corner of the opening on the north side of the building. A updated drawing will be sent out once provided by the engineer.

  • Increasing the square footage of the access road on the SE of the structure. This will likely be determined after the layout and grade for the structure has been decided. The increase in SF is to accommodate deans equipment. The largest of which is the spreader.

  • Move the structure to the South (approximately 6’) to avoid removal of the existing rock wall.  For the bids, do not include rock wall removal for the Northern section and it can be re-assessed during construction if it needs to be removed.

  • Landowner does not plan to put tile on the feed table.

  • Specify the location of the soil pile. This can be addressed in the Erosion and Sediment Plan submitted for review once contract is awarded.

  • Stump removal (tree removal shown in design package) and disposal. The stump along Powers Road at the existing rock wall is to remain in place for the integrity of the rock wall.

  • Disposal of existing concrete slab. The question was asked if the rubble could be repurposed and that is allowed as long as it is crushed to the size identified in the specs section under Earthfill on page 5 of the design packet.

  • Desired grooving as per landowner – groove the scrape lane only, the remainder will be a brush finish.

  • Straight bars on the feed table and please include the cost of all gates and hardware.

  • Please include the cost of adding curtains on the south side of the structure. Include this as a seperate line item as the grant funding does not cover the cost of curtains and will be paid for by the landowner.
