Dirt and Gravel Roads
The PA State Conservation Commission’s Dirt and Gravel Road Pollution Prevention Program provides training and funding to local townships to help prevent stream pollution from excess road sediment. The Susquehanna County Conservation District works with local townships in the county to develop a work plan to correct pollution problems on unpaved roads, which also results in a drastic decrease in road maintenance once projects are completed.
