Wildlife Package
This package is designed to attract wildlife to your land. These trees will provide food and shelter for many varieties of wildlife throughout the fall and winter.
5 - Large Crabapple Trees (5-6 foot) comprised of 30-06 Crabapple and Drop tine Crabapple. These are 2 of our top sellers for whitetails and turkey...they have high disease resistance including total Fire blight disease resistance. They drop fruit mid to late fall and will hold their fruit into winter. A lot of small birds and grouse also use their fruit. They are also very cold hardy and we ship thousands of these to the northern states each year.
6 - Jefferson and Theta Hazelnut Rooted Whips 3 feet tall. These varieties were developed by Oregon State University and have high disease/blight resistance and form a very large dense hazelnut shrub. They pollinate each other and produce heavy crops of nuts that have become very popular as a fall attractant for whitetails, turkeys, and other smaller wildlife.
2 American Chinese Hybrid Chestnut Trees 1-Foot. A large chestnut tree with complete chestnut disease resistance provides heavy loads of chestnuts during the fall season September and October.
