Funded by the Unconventional Gas Well Fund (UGWF), the Building a Greener Community Grant will enable applicants to preserve, enhance, and protect the natural resources of Susquehanna County and inspire stakeholders across the county to do the same.

• Acquire, develop, or repair open/green space.
• Develop or repair recreational trails.
• Develop/implement pollinator gardens.

• Develop/implement environmental education programming and or outreach.
• Develop/implement best management practices related to:

          -Water resource management
          -Soil conservation
          -Forest conservation
